Overview

On
Tuesday January 16th 2007, I am going to attempt to play
100 holes (or more) of golf in a single day. What’s
more I will be undertaking this marathon at picturesque
Oberon Golf Course - a fairly hilly course backing onto
Oberon Dam. You may have heard of others playing 100 holes
in a day in a golf marathon before. But unlike them, I
will be playing without a golf cart and with a caddie -
walking all the way and following the rules of golf. |
You
might think I am a bit crazy to do this, but I am
attempting it because I am passionate about helping
the Christian Golf ministry: Links Sports Chaplaincy
Australia. In fact, if you knew the positive impact
that Links SCA is having through its work you’d
probably want to help too!

By
sponsoring me for each hole of golf I play in the golf marathon
you too can help make a substantial difference in the lives
of many people through Links SCA. What’s more –
100% of the funds raised go directly to help Links SCA and all
contributions are tax deductible.
I have already sponsored myself $2.00 per hole, and
I’d
love you to sponsor me what ever you can per hole. During the
Golf Ministry Marathon their will be regular updates and pictures
posted on the Links website (www.slmlinks.com.au)
– so you can follow my progress.
Thanks
in advance for helping Links Sports Chaplaincy Australia.
